Meet Brenda Duncan.
Brenda Duncan is the owner of Ally HR Solutions and its lead consultant. Duncan is a Human Resources executive with over 20 years of HR and operational experience.
Throughout her career, she has not only been a respected Human Resources leader but also entrusted with other key administrative functions, including Education, Facilities, Information Technology and Security. Duncan’s last role before starting her own HR consulting company was as divisional director of Human Resources and Education for a teaching hospital with almost 2,000 employees.
Crain’s Chicago Business recognized Duncan for her HR expertise by naming her as an honoree in their 2020 Notable Leaders in HR list (www.chicagobusiness.com/awards/brenda-duncan). Duncan holds an MBA degree with a concentration in Human Resources management from Keller Graduate School of Management. She is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and certified Strategic Human Resources Business Partner (sHRBP)
Brenda Duncan and her team are accomplished Human Resources professionals with HR leadership and operational experience in a variety of industries, including nonprofits, healthcare, consulting and the public/private sector. Ally HR Solutions professionals have held both senior management and generalist positions, so they know strategic and day-to-day HR management practices.
Their experience includes delivering HR services in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits design/administration, employee relations, regulatory compliance, training and development, and EEO. They also have experience in developing policies and procedures, including COVID related protocols. In their senior management roles, they have had to balance strategic and tactical skills to translate strategies into actionable plans. They are collaborators and trusted advisors to the organizations they serve.
